Package Description

Your check in destination is Sault Ste Marie, Ontario at 5:00 PM for meet and greet then supper.

We will discuss and answer any question on this week’s vacation.

This tour is run on the OFSC trail system with groomed trails up to 20 feet wide.

 DAY 1, B

After a hearty breakfast at 7:00 AM we are all aboard the snow train. After we get the sleds loaded the truck drivers follow us 45 minutes north to where we park the trucks for the week. Once the train arrives they board the train. This ride is approximately 6 hours as we wind our way over the rolling hills past the ice falls and through the Agawa  Canyon to Hawk Junction, so be sure to have your camera ready for some great photographs. When we arrive in Hawk at approximately 2:30 PM we will get suited up and have a short ride to our nightly accommodations, which is about 25 miles for supper. Today our delicious supper will be waiting and then you can enjoy the hot tub or sauna at the motel.

  DAY 2, B

This morning we will have breakfast at 8:00 AM then we are on our way for the day. Our ride today will take us to Chapleau and we will travel 162 miles to our motel. with a stop half way for lunch and fuel. Today we will be traveling through one of Canada’s largest game preserve parks and may spot a few moose. Today we should arrive in at 4:30 PM and tonight there will again be a hot tub and sauna in the motel.

                                                                                                                         DAY 3, B

Today after breakfast at 7:00 AM we are on the trail traveling to Elliot Lake, with lunch and fuel on the way. Today’s ride will be an assortment of everything from hills to flat areas with some good riding and today we will ride 180 miles to our motel. When we arrive at our motel at 5:00 PM, you can again enjoy the hot tub, before you rest for the evening.

Today we are on our way back to our starting point to where the vehicles have been parked for the week. Today the trails change to vary scenic rolling hills as we make our way in. Today we will have lunch and refuel and should be in by 5:00 PM, today’s ride will be 160 miles. Once we arrive it will be time to say good bye load up and head for home, but if anyone feels lucky they can spend the night and try out the casino.

This guided loop package includes:

Four night’s accommodations, four suppers, four breakfasts, train fare, sled fare for one person.

Approximate mileage 550 miles.

Be sure to bring bathing suits.

Be sure to have camera available for scenic views.

On this tour we have truck and support trailer that follows us with luggage and any needed equipment.

Experienced guides.

Must be 16 with at least operator’s permit to drive but can come as a passenger.

Sled must be able to get 90 miles or carry spare gas.

Sled must be in good mechanical condition.

Must have Public Liability & Property Damage insurance (PL&PD)

Single room occupancy add 25%.

Tourists do get a 50% rebate on the GST Tax.

Excludes truck parking at the compound  $ 5. 00 per day.
