Safety, Preparation and Experience

"Northern Snowmobile Tours" are the ultimate winter vacations for families to enjoy. Our various routes, some short, some longer, cover thousands of kilometers of well maintained trails in total that are groomed and up to thirty feet wide. Our tours we travel through Algoma Kinniawbi, Rainbow Country, James Bay Frontier and Drummond Island Michigan. "Northern Snowmobile Tours" are vacations that are designed to explore a network of wilderness trails, logging roads and ice bridges. There great opportunities to capture great photographs of outdoor scenery. Occasionally we even see a deer or a moose. Bring along your swim wear to enjoy a relaxing sauna or hot tub,as most lodges have them.

We do not allow ALCOHOLIC beverages on the trails, but our overnight rest stops are well supplied. Be sure to bring along EXTRA warm clothing, one can be extremely comfortable is even the coldest weather, if one is clothed properly. In all areas of clothing, higher priced gear is usually worth the extra expense. Be prepared for all weather condition. After booking your tour you are welcome to call us on our toll free number to discuss snowmobile clothing. We will send you a list of minimum requirements and suggestions.

Sled Maintenance

The machines we use on our tours are Bombardier Ski-Doo, touring snowmobiles. We choose Bombardier Skidoo's because of their reliability and more importantly, because of the ease with which they can be serviced in communities that we visit. Our snowmobiles accommodate two people comfortably. We check our sleds each evening when we arrive at our destination and service them if necessary so that they are ready to run the next morning.

At the end of our tour our snowmobiles are thoroughly inspected and serviced and made ready for our next tour.
